This is our first Coolship India Pale Ale, and in some ways the beer that expresses the impact of a coolship better than any other. The coolship and the hops we choose to brew with work together to transform into aromas and flavours far greater to the sum of their parts. There is a magic happening in that coolship that's revealing itself brew by brew. We use one farm for all of our hops, Hukin Hops in Kent. For us they produce the best in the UK and we work directly with growers wherever possible. An IPA is all about structure and balance, how to hang a large hop profile on a slender malt frame, how to hold your hops in equilibrium on a pinnacle. This is what makes them exciting to brew and rewarding when you land it. Full of all the things we love to brew with, heritage floor malted barley, raw regenerative YQ wheat and single farm UK hops.
