Origin
Located in Brazil’s lush state of Minas Gerais, the Cerrado Mineiro plateau is a tropical savanna known for its rich and important bio-diversity. It has an enchanting landscape with weather characterized by well defined wet and dry seasons ideal for the cultivation of the finest coffee in the world.

Taste and Aroma
The tropical climate and nutrient-rich soil of Cerrado Mineiro give this coffee its intense aromas and full body with an underlying note of dark chocolate, for a uniquely inspiring coffee experience.

An intense scent describes the profile of this variety of Arabica coffee. The intense and wrapping aroma anticipates the velvety fullness of its body that gives an authentic tactile delight to the palate. Bitterness and sourness are balanced and enriched by a marked chocolate note.

This single origin coffee is a selection of the highest grade beans prepared for Illy with zero defects, processed via the semi-washed method.
