From the wild mind of Alex Craighead in New Zealand is this incredibly special natural wine project, Kindeli Wines. Using exclusively organic and biodynamic vineyards in his native Marlborough, Alex makes incredible wines without any SO2. The 2017 Tinto, with its forest floor nose and inflections of cherrywood, is a joyous liberation of Pinot Noir. Alex blends equal parts carbonic, de-stemmed and whole cluster Pinot Noir with a small amount of Syrah. Crisp, glass shard texture, loaded with succulent pinot noir cherry fruit, sleek spice, bright zesty acidity. A mouthwatering, drawn out finish. Incredible drinkability.
