Knockdhu 2014 10 Year Single Cask Nation 61.2% ABV

This expression of Knockdhu was distilled in October 2014 and after six years was selected by Single Cask Nation and finished in a first fill Oloroso Sherry Barrel for a full 4 years, bottled late 2025. In the nose this has rich aromas of rum and sultana raisins, teak and oak shavings, a bakeshop note of marzipan and Kouign amann with a flambeed orange peel. On the palate this leads with a savory note of leather, that gives way to flavors of peanut, cacao nibs, and a bakeshop richness that echoes the nose and ends with flavors of toasted pistachio and honeycomb. - D&M TASTING NOTES, APRIL 2026
