Lagavulin 11 Year Old Nick Offerman Edition Guinness Cask Finish is a limited Father’s Day 2021 release created by actor Nick Offerman — an 11-year Lagavulin Islay single malt finished in Guinness stout casks, conceived as a tribute to his father, blending two of Offerman’s lifelong passions.

Lagavulin sits on the banks of Lagavulin Bay on the island of Islay — one of Scotland’s oldest distillery sites, with records of distilling activity dating to 1742. John Johnson founded the first legal distillery on the site in 1816, and Alexander Graham later unified the operation under the Lagavulin name. The rich, peaty water flowing through the Solan Lochs into Lagavulin Bay has served as the lifeblood of the distillery ever since.

Nick Offerman — best known for playing Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation — is a longtime Lagavulin enthusiast and Guinness drinker. For Father’s Day 2021 he combined those two passions into a single whisky, marrying 11-year Lagavulin’s smoke-forward Islay character with the roasted, dry character of Guinness stout casks.
