Lagavulin Scotch Single Malt 16 Year

One of the classic Islay drams, Lagavulin 16 has a devoted following around the world. Like it’s Islay cousins it has a large dose of peat on the nose and the finish, giving it the characteristic flavor of the region. Fans insist that this is not like the other Islay whiskeys, though, as the fermentation, distillation, and aging are all given more time at Lagavulin than any other whiskey on the island. The base whiskey has a richness that softens the peat and a dry finish, giving it a subtlety and refinement of flavor that puts it in a class of its own.
