Lancette Vermentino Toscana IGT 2023

Born in Tuscany's coastal Maremma region at the family-owned Tenuta Lancette estate, this Vermentino bottling reflects the warm Mediterranean breezes and calcareous clay soils of southern Tuscany. Hand-harvested Vermentino grapes are whole-cluster pressed immediately upon arrival at the cellar to preserve freshness, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel at 16 18°C to lock in bright aromatics of citrus blossom, green almond and wild herbs. A brief lees stir after fermentation lends a creamy mid-palate without obscuring the wine's hallmark saline minerality. The final IGT enjoys early release to showcase its lively acidity, crisp finish and nuanced coastal character.
