A stunning limited edition triple distilled whisky from Laphroaig. Initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels then quarter casks and finally in Pedro Ximenez hogsheads. This ‘Cairdeas' release- meaning ‘friendship' in Gaelic was bottled at a bold cask strength of 58.9%. A single malt that is both complex and smoky. Laphroaig’s famous flavours of peat smoke and seaweed are married with sweet notes of Manuka honey and spice. There’s also hints of grilled bacon, cooked apples and oak spice. The finish is long and warming. A perfect dram to enjoy with friends.
