Live mathematics

Mathematics can be characterized as the science about numbers and figures. It is difficult to name such a field of human activity, where it would not be necessary to address and solve problems about the number of objects, their size and shape. Since ancient times, as the human society developed, we accumulated more information about numbers, sizes and shapes of objects. There was a need to arrange all this information in order in order to make it easier for passing it over from one generation to another. This is how mathematics was gradually born. Mathematical knowledge are already found in a period of about four thousand years before present time. This is evidenced by Egyptian papyri and cuneiform Babylonian tablets that survived until our time, where solutions to various arithmetic, geometric and algebraic problems can be encountered.
