Lochlea Our Barley 700ml

Lochlea Distillery is in the heart of Ayrshire, a farm growing their own barley, which they have been quietly distilling and ageing for a few years to release their own whisky.

The Our Barley Edition is their ongoing core expression, crafted by John Campbell, who joined Lochlea from Laphroaig distillery.
A combination of Bourbon casks, Sherry casks and STR casks, creating a dram with spice and complexity.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – Pear syrup, fruit bon bons, warm cut grass, marmalade.
Palate – Golden syrup, pepper, rye bread, macadamia nuts, cream soda.
Finish – Long finish with a lasting orange beeswax note.
