Louis Latour Puligny Montrachet Sous Le Puits Premier Cru 2022

Produced by the historic house of Louis Latour, this Premier Cru white Burgundy comes from the prestigious village of Puligny-Montrachet—renowned worldwide for crafting some of the finest expressions of Chardonnay.

The “Sous le Puits” vineyard, perched on the upper slopes of Blagny with a favorable south-eastern exposure, benefits from excellent drainage and sunlight, contributing to the wine’s finesse and aromatic precision. The name, meaning “under the well,” references a nearby natural spring that nourishes the vines.

Vinified using traditional Burgundian methods, the wine undergoes complete malolactic fermentation and is aged for 8–10 months in French oak barrels (50% new, medium toast) from the Louis Latour cooperage. The result is a beautifully balanced Premier Cru that marries richness with elegance, showcasing the hallmark purity and refinement of Puligny-Montrachet.
