M66 R&L Media Self-Contained Air Filtration System

Delivers a healthier working environment, the M66 R&L Media Industrial Smoke Eater effectively removes dust, smoke, vapors, and odors. This air filtrations system features a three-stage filtration for a thorough ambient air cleaning. The M66 R&L smoke eater has dimensions of 56” L x 26 1/2” W x 27 1/8” H and comes in a 16-gauge welded steel cabinet with baked enamel textured coated finish that blends well with existing décor.

Adjustable Motor Sheave

The adjustable motor sheave of the M66 R&L Media commercial smoke eater allows for field adjustments to the rated airflow of up to 3,200 CFM. This air cleaner also has a forward curved and belt-driven centrifugal blower capable of moving large amounts of free air.

Completely prewired, the M66 R&L Media Industrial Smoke Eater features 1 HP on single-phase and 3 HP on three-phase. This air cleaner’s blower motor boasts sealed ball bearings and is thermally protected. The M66 R&L air filtration system also has an indicator light that shows if the blower motor is adequately powered.

Extender Service Filter (ESF)

The M66 R&L Media Industrial Smoke Eater comes with an Extender Service Filter (ESF) that boasts a longer lifespan than conventional filters due to its increased surface area. Featuring 30-35% efficient pleated filters at 24” x 24” x 4” size, this air cleaner effectively captures a wide range of particulates. The M66 R&L Media Air Filtration System has a large prefilter media area of up to 29.5 feet.

The ESF is designed to withstand harsh operating conditions, such as variable air volume (VAV), turbulent airflow, repeated fan shut down, and high relative humidity (RH). With a filter media made of cotton and synthetic blend, the M66 R&L Media Industrial Smoke Eater has a high contaminant-holding capacity that results in fewer filter changeouts and disposal costs.

45-lb. Activated Carbon

For the freshest smelling indoor air, the M66 R&L Media Industrial Smoke Eater includes a whopping 45 lbs. of activated carbon filter that virtually eliminates smoke and strong odors. Activated carbon or carbon filter consists of millions of tiny absorbent pores that soak up unwanted smells that linger in the air when you smoke cigars.

This smoke cleaner filter is the most popular filtration agent against gases and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The M66 R&L Media air cleaner also comes with a factory-installed dirty filter pressure gauge designed to determine if the filter is functioning correctly or needs changing. The side load track system with a hinged door allows you to access the smoke eater filters for replacement easily.

Multiple Mounting Options

Ceiling mount brackets come standard with the M66 R&L Media Industrial Smoke Eater, allowing the air cleaner to stand or hang with a horizontal airflow. This air filtration system also produces decent sound levels at 70 dBA at 15 feet away and 73 dBA at 9 feet from the unit. Besides, the smoke eater comes with a 10 feet power cord with molded plug.
