OVERVIEW: "The Macallan Harmony Collection is an annual limited-edition release that celebrates the distillery’s enduring connection with nature. Inspired by Ethiopian Arabica coffee beans, celebrated for their vibrant acidity and intricate flavor profiles, this second edition showcases a collaboration between Whisky Maker Steven Bremner and a select group of coffee experts and growers. The result is a single malt whisky that pairs harmoniously with espresso.

This release also features a partnership with Jordi Roca, the acclaimed pastry chef at the three-Michelin-starred El Celler de Can Roca. Sustainability is woven into the design, as the packaging incorporates recycled cascara (the dried husks of coffee cherries), further emphasizing the collection’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

To complement the whisky’s dry fruitiness and wine-like qualities, Bremner selected Harrar and Guji coffee beans, known for their robust flavor and intensity. (Casks: Ex-sherry seasoned oak; No age statement)"

TASTING: “COLOUR - Crema; NOSE - Tiramisu, cappuccino, gingerbread, raisins, almonds, sweet oak, and vanilla; PALATE - Espresso, dark chocolate, raisins, tiramisu, blackberry, vanilla, Brazil nut, and sweet oak; FINISH - Long, balanced, and sweet, with lingering notes of dark roast coffee.”
