Mackmyra Grönt Te (Green Tea) is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky matured mainly in ex-oloroso casks, then finished in casks seasoned with liqueur made from some of the finest Japanese tea leaves. Providing a subtly spicy and flavourful whisky with a fruity and floral finish. The whisky has notes of vanilla, green apples and herbal green tea.   This is an ambitious, intriguing and innovative whisky, skilfully created by our Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame representative, Master Blender and CNO (Chief Nose Officer), Angela D’Orazio. Inspired by Angela’s passion for travelling, this expression captures the tradition, elegance, sophistication, and subtle complexity of the finest Japanese vintage green tea leaves and expertly combines them to create an exciting new whisky that brings the senses to life. Mackmyra Grönt Te is a Swedish single malt whisky that has been finished in a newly saturated Ex-Oloroso casks. A blend of oloroso wine and the finest vintage Japanese green tea leaves have seasoned the casks, providing a subtly spicy and flavourful whisky with a fruity and floral finish. The whisky has notes of fine vanilla, green apples and herbal green tea. Grönt Te is light amber in colour with subtle red reflections and is great to enjoy on any occasion. AROMATIC PROFILE: • Newly saturated ex-Oloroso, 128 L • New and 1st fill Oloroso, 128 L • 1st fill Bourbon, 100-200 L • 1st fill Swedish oak, 100 L NOSE Spicy, floral, red berries and fruits with notes of green tea, white pepper and roasted vanilla. Dried grapes, citrus, pear and forest berries. PALATE Fruity and floral finish with fine vanilla, herbal green tea notes, green apples and finishing with a light spiciness. FINISH Spicy, fruity with herbal green tea leaves and rich vanilla.
