The fast-acting active ingredient, Fipronil, is still slow enough for foraging ants to return to the colony and feed the bait to larvae and queen(s); thus killing the entire colony. Maxforce Fleet Ant Gel Bait has a high moisture constant that enhances the bait's attractiveness to target ants. In fact, Maxforce Fleet Ant Gel is formulated to not only controls Carpenter Ants, but it also controls additional ants including, Argentine, Pharaoh, Pavement, Honey, Acrobat, Odorous House, Thief, Big-headed, Cornfield and Field Ants.
