Robin and Andréa McBride grew up on opposite sides of the world — Robin in Monterey, California, Andréa in New Zealand — and only discovered each other as adults, two half-sisters connected by their shared father and a shared passion for wine. In 2005 they founded McBride Sisters Collection, becoming the largest Black-owned wine company in the United States. The Black Girl Magic label is their love letter to celebration: wines crafted to bring people together, named for the joy and power of Black women everywhere.
