Meridian Pinot Noir

This wine was aged for six months prior to blending and bottling. We used new French oak from several forests and with various toast levels to achieve complexity and a subtle toasty flavor component in the finished wine. A small portion of the blend was aged in American oak to spice things up.The 26 California Pinot Noir exudes the classic hallmarks of Pinot Noir: aromas of Bing cherry with hints of strawberry, roses and violets. It displays a subtle nuance of black tea and earth with a dash of vanilla oak spice. The flavor profile is elegant and medium- bodied with a velvety texture. Its complex flavors are juicy and mouth-filling, mirroring the aromas, including cherry and fig. This wine has a silky texture with slightly firm tannins and a long finish.
