Merlet Trois Citrus Liqueur 750ml

Trois Citrus is Merlet’s reinterpretation of the traditional orange liqueur: triple sec. For this, the Merlet family collaborated with one of the greatest bartenders in the world, Tony Conigliaro, to create a product perfect for use in cocktails. Trois Citrus combines three varieties of citrus fruits: bitter orange, blood orange and lemon. The peels of each citrus fruit are macerated separately in a superfine alcohol, then are distilled for the most part. The distillates obtained are then assembled, as well as the non-distilled macerations. Finally sugar is added to obtain the final liquor, but at a minimal rate. The different citrus fruits offer a unique complexity, and the low sugar level makes it possible to make dry cocktails, even a use as base spirits thanks to the high degree of alcohol. The bitter touch of the non-distilled macerations reinforces the length and the dry side in tasting.

TASTING NOTES
Color: An almost transparent color and yet noticeably silvery in hue.
Palate: Clear aromas of orange zest, noticeably peppery. A very generous body with sweet and fruity notes. A multi-dimensional finish of orange and custard.
