With amber as a base color, Metaxa 5 Star also has a golden tint to give it an extra touch of class. Brioche and muscat are revealed throughout this drink, but floral characteristics really put it in a class by itself. A bitter scent of apricots, orange blossoms and roses are followed on the nose by floral touches of honey, vanilla and violet flowers. On the palate, flavors of apricot, brioche, peaches and raisins create a taste that is mellow and smooth. A long finish features rich notes of almond and oak.
