Mezcal Union Uno Joven

Mezcal UNIÓN is an artisanal handcrafted spirit produced by the union of Zapotec Mezcal producer families from the Sierra of Oaxaca, Mexico. Their main goal is to unite families offering them a fair trade business model and path to social development.

Mezcal UNIÓN was born with the intention of creating positive change in Mexico. They believe that working in unity and collaboration is the only way to preserve the millenary tradition of producing artisanal Mezcal. The best way of feeling and tasting Mexico is through its Mezcal.

AGAVE BLEND
This mezcal is a blend of 8 year old agave Espadín and 14 year old wild agave Cirial. The range of flavors is impressive with diverse fruit, herbal, wood, citrus and earth connotations, slightly smoked, very balanced between the flavor of the agaves and the aromas of the process.

WOOD FIRE
The harvested plants are cooked on a conical rock pit (oven) underneath the ground, with Encino wood fire and pre selected river stones. Fermented with natural yeast. Double distillation in cooper pits.
