History
Michter's 10 Year Bourbon 2018 is created with tradition in mind at the Michter's Distillery in Kentucky, Louisville. It was developed in pursuit of Michter’s goal of making the greatest American whiskey. In the 18th century, a Swiss Mennonite farmer named John Shenk settled his family near Pennsylvania's Blue Mountain Valley. After years of hard work, Shenk began distilling excess grains into whiskey, establishing Michter's as the United States' first distilling company. This bourbon is a barrel strength expression, aged in a custom barrel constructed from 24-month air-dried wood, which enhances its rich and complex flavors.
