Bloody Butcher corn dates to early 1800s European settlers blending their corn with a native variety. Unsuited to industrial-scale farming, it is grown by only a few farmers today. The corn, barley, and rye blend gives the bourbon a balanced, complex character unlike most bourbons — round, soft, and savory.
