The shell is 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro, delivering best-in-class waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance with 100% recycled nylon face fabric, lower-impact DWR, and dope-dyed backer material that reduces water usage and energy consumption in production. What separates the Jakl from other GORE-TEX Pro dry suits in the NRS lineup is the Cordura reinforcement throughout all key areas, built specifically to handle the rugged hike-ins, technical scouts, and demanding scrambles that precede the most committing whitewater runs. This is a dry suit designed to take punishment on land as confidently as it performs on the water.

The back-entry YKK Aquaseal zipper eliminates bulk across the chest and improves range of motion for aggressive paddling, and a 13 cm neoprene waist overskirt with double-pull hook-and-loop closure mates with your sprayskirt tunnel for a watertight cockpit seal. Tough latex neck and wrist gaskets are protected by volcano-style GlideSkin neoprene overcuffs that cover more surface area from wrist to hand, reducing water contact with the gaskets in high-volume water. Mesh drain holes at the neck and wrists clear trapped water efficiently, and fully reinforced gathered ankles with silicone grip dots keep the suit snug over booties on the most technical terrain. GORE-TEX Pro fabric socks, a relief zipper, and a splashproof chest pocket complete the package.
