Nuova Simonelli PTFE Gasket for Steam Wand Nut

OEM PTFE gasket (ORM 0102-25) that seals the steam wand nut on newer Nuova Simonelli machines. These come pre-installed on current-production steam wands, replacing the older S_260 rubber O-ring design with a PTFE gasket that holds up better to heat cycling.

INSTALLATION

Doable as a DIY job, but plan for it to take patience, PTFE has almost no elasticity, so it doesn't stretch over parts the way a rubber O-ring does.

PRO TIPS

• Disassemble in this exact order to avoid tearing the gasket: remove the tip first, then the rubber heat guard, then the nut. Trying to pull the nut off before removing the heat guard is the most common way people damage this gasket during a DIY swap.
