At the start, this blended whisky draws inspiration from the Miyagi and Nagano Districts in Japan, creating a smooth, pleasant experience that invites exploration and admiration, making each sip truly memorable.

History
Oak & Eden Wheat & Spire Finished Whiskey comes from a traditional bourbon, you’ll find a mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley. Swap the rye with wheat, and a whole new world of flavors open up. With all the sweetness and creaminess traditionally found in bourbon, but with virtually no bite on the finish, Wheat & Spire is among the most pleasant and drinkable whiskeys in the Oak & Eden family. We then bring this whiskey to life with a fired French Oak spire, introducing new, silky botanicals coming naturally from the French Oak. Now that our masterpiece is bottled, the work of finishing begins. Unlike traditional finished whiskey, we do not rest our whiskey in a secondary cask, but finish our whiskey in-bottle. We do this by placing a 5” long spiral-cut piece of wood, cut from the same species of wood as the finishing barrel into our bottle. In the Wheat & Spire, we cut a Spire from French Oak, porous and rich, containing nearly twice the amount of natural botanicals as American Oak, creating a rich, fruity, silky finish. Before we place the spire of wood into the Wheat & Spire, we expose it to fire, toasting the wood to the perfect degree that will produce a finish that is deep and rich with subtle notes of fruit and vanilla. This meticulous process not only enhances the flavor profile but also pays homage to the traditional craftsmanship of whiskey-making, resulting in a unique and memorable sipping experience.
