We were lucky enough to secure this rare Oban distillery exclusive Batch 04 whisky, the latest release from the well know West Highland distillery.
Matured in refill and sherry seasoned virgin American oak hogsheads for an undisclosed amount of time before bottling at 48% abv. This limited release of just 7200 bottles offers an unfiltered window into Oban’s signature coastal character. The rich palate is full of dried fruits, vanilla and toasted almonds which are nicely balanced by the distillery’s unmistakable maritime style. This is a bold and captivating bottling with great depth.
