Old Bardstown Estate Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey containing a high-corn formula and is fermented using legendary Kentucky limestone water. This bourbon is aged for a minimum of 4 years in new, American oak casks and bottled at a hundred and one proof.
Notes of nutmeg, caramel, sweet fruit, vanilla, on a layer of oak and earthiness. This bourbon has medium-long finish, with hints of fresh herbs, oak and spice.
Old Bardstown Estate earned a score of 95 points from Jim Murray's Whisky Bible, and the Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2012.
