The complete maturation totals 6 years and 11 months. This California Cellar Series release is bottled at 57.5% ABV / 115 proof in a 700ml bottle.

Old Potrero describes rich chocolate, vanilla, and barrel-rickhouse character on the aroma. Caramel, roasted malt, and spiced apricot shape the palate, followed by a viscous, long finish with deep stone fruit and rye spice. The stout-barrel treatment links the distillery’s malted-rye whiskey with Almanac’s malt-forward imperial stout, adding roasted and cocoa-toned dimensions while preserving the whiskey’s rye character.
