Commercial Description:

The Bottled in Bond Act of 1897 was created to protect consumers with a series of requirements that guarantees the authenticity of a whiskey. To be considered bottled-in-bond, the whiskey must be from one distillery within one distillation season, aged at least 4 years in a bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof.

District Made Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey is our oldest Rye cask to date at 6 years and 189 days old. It was first aged for 4+ years in new charred American oak barrels, then proofed down and re-barreled for the next 2+ years in toasted oak.
