VIV's Orchid inflows create a suitable water flow for the Iwagumi style aquascape and when keeping fish in an aquatic plant layout that prefer a moderate water flow, such as cyprinids and characins. The Iwagumi term itself comes from the Japanese term ‘rock formation’ and refers to a layout where stones play the lead role. Rocks provide the structure of the aquascape. The traditional geography is a design made of three main stones: one large headstone and two small others.

Orchid inflow will help achieve this style aquarium. Depending on its placement, the inflow pipe supplies aeration and its narrow outlet provides a slightly downward water stream.

The pipe diameter is 17 mm or 9/16" and is best used in 36-72” aquariums.
