This ripe and tropical Sauvignon Blanc delivers aromas of pineapple, guava, and candied lemon peel on the nose. The palate delivers zesty citrus, sweet apricot, white flower, and fresh green herb flavors across the rounded and plush palate.

Winemaker Notes

The 2025 Blank Stare slowly frosts a glass with a green gold core and flashes of the Emerald City. Bright tropical aromatics of passion fruit, pink guava, gooseberry and mangosteen dominate the nose. As the wine enters the palate, the sensation is taut with notes of lime zest, key lime pie and Anjou pear with crisp acidity through the finish.

Blank Stare has always been a favorite around Orin Swift, so bringing it back for the 2022 vintage after a pause is exciting. With two Sauvignon Blancs in our repertoire, they couldn’t be more different. Blank Stare embraces the cooler Russian River Valley compared to its sister, Veladora, in the warmer Napa Valley. What results is a wine defined by brighter fruit tones and a fresh, lively palate, sourced entirely from the Laguna Ranch and MacMurray vineyards.
