With a bright yellow color, the Riesling Schoenenbourg exudes a sparkling appearance in the glass. On the nose, one can detect fruity and juicy aromas of lemon peel, apple, and licorice, with a strong mineral presence. The subtle hint of flint is accompanied by a touch of butter and lime-tree blossom. As it develops over time, notes of papaya and pineapple emerge. On the palate, the full minerality is highlighted by a crisp lemony acidity and a dynamic, lively body. With the passing of time, the wine begins to show maturity, leading to a long, mineral and aromatic finish. This is a charismatic Alsatian Riesling with great aging potential.
