A very fresh yet structured wine that doesn't reflect the difficulties of the vintage. Drink or hold.

The classic 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon from PlumpJack is certainly outstanding, with plenty of classic cassis and darker currant-like fruits as well as some chocolaty oak, graphite, and scorched earth notes. It's medium-bodied, has a nicely balanced, enjoyable mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It shows the sunny, riper side of the vintage, yet this brings a solid sense of elegance, purity, and finesse, which makes it a joy to drink. It should keep for a decade.
