The Port Askaig Cask Strength #02-2024 uses specially selected casks to create layers of sweetness & zest intertwined with the classic smoke of Islay. 

This second edition of the Port Asking Cask Strength was selected for the notes it brings to the whisky, and each batch has a unique code to show the cask breakdown. This enables the recipient to compare, contrast, and explore the different notes the wood and blending bring to this Islay Scotch Whisky each year.

PX Sherry Butts: 34%

Oloroso Sherry Butts & Hogsheads: 28%

Refill Butts & Hogsheads: 36%

Bourbon Barrels: 2%

Producer's Tasting Notes:

Nose: Orange and lemon zest, black pepper, toast and jam, and significant smoke.

Palate: Salt, fresh lime, smoke from the nose and spice cake.

Finish: The finish lingers with spice, smoke, and toffee-like richness.
