The Ardbeg Supernova 2010 is a highly sought-after release from the Ardbeg Committee, known for its intense peatiness and high ABV of 60.1%. This edition is celebrated for its exceptionally high peating level, surpassing 100 ppm, making it one of the most heavily peated whiskies.

The tasting notes for the Supernova 2010 highlight its powerful and complex profile. On the nose, it offers a punchy array of flavors including espresso, berry fruits, chili, black pepper, and hints of tar. 

The palate is equally intense with hot spices, leather, cigars, and a strong peat presence, complemented by notes of chocolate and anise'

The finish is long and smoky, with lingering flavors of hot tar, creosote, and vanilla
