Practical Elegance is one of our original smoothie-style ales. The second batch of this thirst-quenching brew has an intriguing plum-colored appearance and smoothie-like mouthfeel thanks to the plentiful addition of organic cherry and raspberry purees—both swirled into suspension after fermentation. Being ⅓ fruit by volume, expect to be greeted by wafts of cherry pie and boysenberry that give way to flavors of raspberry sorbet, berry medley and Meyer lemon; its thick body is filled with perfectly complementary elements of tartness and sweetness. Indulge in this elegantly crafted creation in the afternoon hours...or for breakfast!
