The Pyranha ReactR is built around a genuinely new approach to creek kayak design. Rather than refining an existing formula, Pyranha developed an entirely new hull philosophy centred on a precisely positioned pivot point and two distinct planing surfaces. The paddler can shift between bow and tail planing depending on what the river demands, making the boat stable on drop landings and equally responsive when skipping out of features on the tail. It's an intuitive system once you're on the water, and it opens up lines and moves that feel out of reach in a conventional creek boat.

The hull details back up the concept. A refined bow profile delivers smoother water entry, a lifting point closer to the paddler for more horizontal skips, and lets cross-currents pass underneath without pushing you off your line. The tail stays on top of the water when running downstream but pivots quickly with low-angle turns when you need to redirect. The innovative rocker profile takes pressure off the ends of the boat, giving you last-second adjustment ability and the ability to carve hard into eddies. Hull efficiency means you're retaining upstream speed on ferries and attainments while still getting the bow out of the way on boofs.
