This espresso from sunny Lecce has everything that distinguishes a classic southern Italian. Dark roasted, full aromas, strong taste and yet not bitter. Created with authentic roasting art according to a family recipe.

General Director Antonio Quarta and his two grandsons Edoardo and Gaetano are already roasting excellent coffee in the fourth generation. They also place great value on sustainability. Quarta Caffè already obtains most of its energy from its own wind turbines and solar panels.

The green beans for the Avio are first roasted separately according to their own profile, because each variety of green coffee has a different ideal roasting point. Only those who strictly observe this can get the best out of the bean. For this process, Quarta Caffè uses a traditional roasting machine with a rotary drum in which the coffee is roasted slowly and gently.

The crema is just the way you like it - dense, creamy and incredibly full-bodied. The Arabica beans lend a fine and slightly sweet aroma and are perfectly rounded off by the small proportion of high-quality Robusta beans.

In Lecce, the Avio can be found in many bars in the city. So there is virtually no way to escape this great espresso!
