We recommend sizing your Stingray Paddle 2" shorter than a traditionally shaped paddle. This is because he Stingray’s compact 10-inch blade places the center of effort nearly 3 inches closer to the tip than a traditional paddle, allowing it to enter the water and engage similarly while using your normal hand spacing. Based on feedback from hundreds of paddlers, most users find their ideal Stingray length is approximately 2 inches shorter than their previous paddle.
