Rancilio Clever Valve, Right Side (2015 Version)

Right-side Clever steam valve as redesigned by Rancilio in December 2015, the cam movement now uses self-lubricating PEEK (brown) and graphite-filled PEEK 450 PVX (black), and the valve stem o-rings were replaced with a PTFE conical seal for smoother, longer-lasting operation.

COMPATIBILITY

• Fits: Rancilio machines using the C-Lever/15 valve system
• Replaces: Rancilio #R10701239 (right-side PEEK cam kit); a matching left-side kit is also available for the left valve
• Works with: The individual PEEK cams are also sold separately and are backward-compatible with pre-2015 valve bodies

INSTALLATION

Full valve replacement is a technician job; if only the cams are worn, the separate cam kit is a simpler DIY-level repair.

PRO TIPS

• Never add grease or oil to the PEEK cams, they're engineered to be self-lubricating via their graphite content, and adding lubricant just attracts coffee dust and grit that accelerates wear.
• Since the individual cams are sold separately and fit pre-2015 valve bodies too, a sticky or leaking older Clever valve can often be fixed with just a cam kit instead of a full valve replacement.
