INSTALLATION

Requires partial disassembly of the lever group, so this is a technician-level job rather than a quick DIY swap.

• Inspect the fork's pivot points for elongated or egg-shaped wear before reinstalling, a worn fork is a common cause of a lever that feels loose or "notchy" through its throw, even when the spring and piston seals are fine.
