Rancilio Steam Valve Seat Seal

The seat seal for the Rancilio Silvia's steam valve, in FKM (Viton) rubber for better heat and chemical resistance than standard rubber. It's also the seat seal for most other older Rancilio commercial steam, water, retention, and expansion valves.

COMPATIBILITY

• Fits: Rancilio Silvia steam valve; most older Rancilio commercial steam/water/retention/expansion valves (not the Classe series)
• Replaces: Slayer part #46000-53100
• Also available in EPDM if you prefer that compound

INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly for an experienced home user; a quick swap once the valve is opened up.

PRO TIPS

• Viton (FKM) holds up better than EPDM against heat cycling over time, which is why we recommend it for a valve used daily, if you're doing an EPDM valve rebuild for cost reasons, that's fine too, just don't mix compounds within the same seal set.
