REMAINING STOCK: Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne 2015 (750 ml)

This organically farmed Cristal is textured and poised, with a mineral undertow beneath its richness. The wine is beginning to soften and show a beautifully balanced maturity. It is already compelling and ready to enjoy.

Despite the warm, dry vintage, this Cristal shows tremendous freshness and elegance. Citrus blossom, mint, lemon and lime zest unfold slowly over a firm structure and a very fine, lively mousse. The finish is long and mineral, with additional bottle age likely to deepen its integration.

Citrus oil, crisp stone fruit, white flowers, crushed mint and buttery pastry emerge gradually from the glass. The palate is deep, layered and concentrated, with chalky extract and a precise mousse around an introverted core of fruit. This is a serious, vinous Champagne with substantial aging potential.
