Rivetto Zio Nando Alba Barbera 2021

Rivetto is a youthfully invigorated family house, converted from traditional to contemporary winemaking (barrique aging etc) in the last few years and starting to hit the reviewers` radar. This special selection of the estate`s best Barbera has the `wow!` factor, very ripe, rounded, flattering with a subtle acidity. It is a premium selection of Barbera grapes from west facing hillside sites of Alba, matured in French Barrique. This wine has amazingly rich, sweet, plumy fruit, intense mouthfilling palate with a velvety texture and acidity softened by six months age in barrel. A great partner to slow cooked red meat dishes, roasted venison or boar and strong cheeses.
