Royal Brackla 2011 13 Years Old Single Malt Whisky Thompson Bros 48.5%

Distilled at Royal Brackla one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, this 13 year old single malt was released by well known independent bottlers, Thompson Brothers. 

Filled in 2011 and left to mature quietly in a refill sherry butt, the extended contact with oak has given layers of complexity while allowing Royal Brackla's famously elegant, fruity character to remain centre stage. Bottled in March 2024 at a great strength of 48.5% abv. 

With just 727 bottles available worldwide, this is the kind of limited independent release that disappears quietly and is well missed once gone!
