100% Sangiovese, locally referred to as Brunello . Ruby red color with garnet hues. Floral, fruity and spicy notes form an extremely complex, inviting bouquet: violets and yellow roses, wild cherries and plums, red currant and mature figs, cloves, walnuts, toasted coffee grains and concentrated plain chocolate, just to mention a few. A truly impressive bouquet. It is full bodied, lush and enveloping on the palate, with chewy tannins and a tight, vibrating texture, full of spicy fruit. The aftertaste is long, lingering with notes of tar, rosemary and cherry pie.
