Sea Smoke Chardonnay 2021 750ml

The journey of crafting our Chardonnay begins with carefully picking and hand-sorting the Chardonnay fruit from our estate vineyard. The harvested grapes then spend a night in our cold room, optimizing the conditions. Subsequently, the chilled grapes undergo a gentle pressing process, and the resulting juice is softly pumped into a stainless steel tank for cold settling. After the removal of heavy solids, the juice is transferred to a stainless steel fermentor, where it is inoculated for primary fermentation. Post this phase, the wine is moved to barrels, where it undergoes inoculation for malolactic fermentation, with periodic stirring to enrich its depth and mouthfeel. The 2021 Sea Smoke Chardonnay is aged for a total of 10 months before bottling, and it undergoes no fining and no filtration, preserving its natural essence.
