Supplementing with inorganic nitrogen offers a precise method to increase nitrogen without introducing excess phosphate or dissolved organics. Typical nitrate tests will reflect all nitrogen forms supplied by this supplement. Directions

Beginner:

Use 1 cap (5 mL) per 160 liters (40 US gallons) twice weekly or as needed to maintain desired nitrate levels. For new or lightly stocked aquariums, start with ¼ to ½ dose and gradually increase as required.

Advanced:

The beginner dose raises nitrogen by approximately 0.78 mg/L or 3.5 mg/L nitrate. To target a specific nitrate increase, apply the formula: 0.009 × volume (L) × desired nitrate increase (mg/L) = product volume (mL). For example, raising nitrogen by 3.5 mg/L in 160 liters requires 5 mL. (Note: 1 US gallon = 3.8 L.)
