St. George’s Distillery became famous for distilling Bartlett pears in their beloved pear brandy, which is the base for their excellent vodka. The pear brandy is distilled to a higher ABV and then blended with a a grain base spirit to create a subtle vodka that does not taste of pears, but does have a light floral scent, almost like pear blossoms in spring time. The body of the spirit has a round, rich texture, unusual for many vodkas, and the overall experience is of a light and clean vodka perfect for any cocktail.
