The ample palate develops notes of brûléed sugar and baked pear lengthened with spearmint and clove. • Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 60.95% ABV For the fourth edition of Pinhook’s Collaboration Series, Pinhook Cofounder and Master Blender Sean Josephs teamed with fellow hospitality veteran and pillar of the New Orleans bartending world, Neal Bodenheimer. Their goal was twofold: to produce a rye whiskey designed to shine in a range of classic cocktails (success in a Sazerac being the gold standard), and to give back to the community that has nurtured their respective careers. Starting with a hands-on blending session at Tales of the Cocktail (enlisting for the occasion more than 30 bartenders and industry professionals), they crafted a 6-year-old rye from Pinhook’s custom mash bill, the first rye offered in the Collaboration Series. Not only will this handsome whiskey feature at Neal Bodenheimer’s celebrated bar, Cure, until the supply runs out, but for every bottle sold, $5 will be donated to the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, where Neal proudly serves as Co-Chair of the Board. The funds will help support education, advocacy, and wellness programs for bartenders and hospitality professionals around the world.
